Fondées en 1993 autour de la revue littéraire éponyme, les éditions LE BORD DE L’EAU se sont progressivement installées comme un éditeur en Région reconnu aux niveaux national et international.
Notre ligne éditoriale, essentiellement consacrée aujourd’hui aux sciences humaines, se veut pédagogique, ancrée dans le présent pour mieux faire connaître le passé, pour comprendre le monde afin de contribuer à « faire société » pour reprendre les mots de Jaurès. « Transformer le monde » et/ou « changer la vie » — Marx et Rimbaud réunis… — voilà le terrain des idées que nos livres cherchent à féconder…
Nous ne renonçons pas à l’exigence de sens, à sa construction collective… à donner à lire et à relire des textes donnant accès à des outils de résistance intellectuelle dans un monde qui se proclame si souvent univoque.
